If you live in the United States and have been paying attention to the society around us, you know damn well that this place is on the edge of total collapse.
Many people may try to sugarcoat the reality of the situation. with their rose-colored glasses. They may say things such as, “It’s not that bad.” or “You’re imagining things.” or worse, “It’s all in your head.” When you hear people say stuff like this, you need to run away from them as fast as possible, because those are the people that will suffer when SHTF is in this country.
The United States of America is on a downward spiral, and many people are not ready for the storm that will come.
In this article, I will explain 7 signs why the United States of America is on the Edge of Collapse. After reading this article, hopefully, you will be awake and start taking the necessary steps to prepare to survive the inevitable collapse.
So, without further ado, let’s begin.
Increasing Homelessness

Homelessness is on the rise in the US.
According to The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), 18 out of 10,000 people are homeless. That’s a lot of people, any way you may try to shake it.
Reasons for the increase in the homeless population are the outrageous cost of living, soaring housing costs, mental health issues due to the pressures and stress of society, and drug & alcohol abuse.
California has the largest homeless population, with over 171,000 people living on the streets.
This is beyond crazy, and this homeless crisis will get worse before it gets any better.
Cost of Living is Rising
I’m sure you’ve noticed that everything is going up in price, whether it’s rent, food, gas, transportation, or miscellaneous expenses.
The dollar is buying less and less every year. And the sad part is that our wages are not rising in tandem with the cost of living.
People aren’t able to afford homes because the interest rates are too high, which means a higher mortgage payment.
The average monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment is around $1,700, causing people to live at home for much longer than anticipated.
With the rising cost of living, people will tighten their spending, which means the economy will endure a recession because people do not have the money to splurge on discretionary expenses.
Massive Illegal Immigration
Illegal immigration is a very concerning issue.
You have thousands of illegal immigrants crossing the open southern border every week.
These people are unvetted and, in most cases, flat-out criminals in their home countries. We do not know what drugs, weapons, vices, diseases, or bad intentions they carry with them.
The democrat party believes in open borders and welcoming illegal immigrants with open arms. But truthfully, we do not have the money, resources, or housing to take care of these people.
Don’t get me wrong. I am all for LEGAL migration. When you go through the correct vetting process and wait your turn in line, then you have the right to be here in the United States of America.
But when you skip the line, bring ill will with you, and demand services and rights meant for American citizens and legal residents, that’s where the problems start.
I can talk all day about this topic, but I will say this. We are a nation. A nation of laws. Abide by them, or get out.
Mass Shootings are Becoming the Norm
It seems as if every single week, there is a mass shooting in this country.
It’s gotten to the point where we are desensitized to it, and that’s sad.
People do not have any love or care for the next person. They are angry, evil, wicked, and full of rage.
So, these cowards feel they should mow down innocent people to satisfy their thirst for blood.
This country is lost, and I fear society will collapse and burn to the ground sooner than we think.
Crime is Rising

Every minute you turn on the news, scroll through social media or listen to the radio, you hear about criminals causing havoc.
If it’s not shootings, smash and grabs, carjacking theft, or some random criminal act, people are on edge, and our “leaders” aren’t doing too much to quell the situation.
My local grocery store now has armed security guards to deter thieves from stealing. They also locked another entrance/exit, so there is only one way in/out.
You know we are in trouble when you need to assign Armed guards to a grocery store of all places.
$32 Trillion Dollar National Debt
As of this writing, this country is over $32 Trillion dollars in debt, and it’s rising fast.
It’s time to face reality. We are in a debt crisis and will never get out of it.
From giving Ukraine obscene amounts of money for their war against Russia (over $200 Billion), funding illegal immigrants, and spending like money is going out of style, it’s only a matter of time before we default and plunge into an economic collapse.
And if you think all hell is breaking loose now, just wait till the stock market crashes, everyone loses their jobs, 401ks, no one has money, riots are breaking out everywhere, and SHTF in this country.
All I’m going to say is that you better start preparing for the inevitable.
Mental Health Crisis
Mental health is another major issue that is affecting a lot of individuals in this country.
Whether it be from drug & alcohol abuse, PTSD, or excessive social media use, people are struggling to keep a sane mind. When people aren’t healthy in their minds, they do things they regret later on.
In conclusion, this country is collapsing at warp speed, and I do not see any way that we can get back on the right track.
My only advice for you is to stay aware and get prepared. You don’t want to be caught with your pants down when all hell finally breaks loose.
Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. I’m curious to see what everyone else thinks.
That’s all for now. Thanks for coming by and take care.
