6 Tips to Mentally Prepare for an Economic Collapse

If you are currently living in the United States of America, you must be well aware that a total collapse of the US economy is imminent.

Our government is over $31 trillion dollars in debt, we have a WIDE OPEN southern border consisting of illegal immigrants waltzing on over to our country every single day, inflation is through the roof, the cost of living is doubling, massive layoffs are ensuing, and these are just a few major issues.

These issues that are ruining the economy can really damage someone’s mental health in the long run.

And if you don’t have your mental health in check when the economy collapses, you will be putting yourself in a very tough situation and you may not come out of it in one piece…

In this blog post, I want to share with you 6 ways to mentally prepare for the economic collapse of the US economy.

It’s important to stay mentally prepared, so that when the economy collapses you can power through it like a champ and come out of the collapse as a winner, not a loser.

So without further ado, let’s begin!

Start Exercising/Working Out

Believe it or not, exercising or working out at the gym can do wonders for your mental health.

When you get your blood flowing and sweat dripping off of your body, it will activate endorphins that can make you focus & think clearly.

Exercising will not only have your mind in the right place during an economic collapse, but it will keep you healthy & fit also. So if you have to leave your residence on foot, you won’t run out of breath or have aches and pains.

Staying in shape and being fit has so many advantages, besides being able to endure an economic collapse. Everyone should be practicing this habit on a consistent basis.

Start Meditating

This is something that I also need to do more of, but meditation has plenty of benefits for your mental health.

For one, meditation can help reduce negative emotions. You may be anxious and worried about what will happen when the economy collapses, but meditating will help you focus on how you can get through it and come out of a collapse on top.

Another benefit of meditating is that it can help reduce your stress.

During an economic crisis, everyone around you will be panicking, anxious, and acting uncivilized. Since you are practicing the art of meditation, you will be able to be cool, calm & collected and do what you need to do to survive.

Focus on Yourself & Your Family

To be mentally prepared for an economic collapse, you should only focus on yourself & your family. No one else.

You can’t save everyone, and everyone won’t try to save you.

When SHTF you need to take care of yourself & make sure your family is good to go.

Grown people are responsible for their own well-being. If they did not heed the warning and prepare for this scenario, then that’s their own fault.

Be Thankful for What You Already Have

You should be thankful for what you already have, and if you’ve been preparing, then you should already have enough.

Be thankful that you are in good health, that you are preparing for when SHTF, and also be thankful for the assets you already have.

When the economy collapses, you are not going to want anything but food, water, shelter, and good health. During a collapse, you are going to care less about frivolous things like new clothes, new cars, new furniture, etc.

Read/Watch Motivational Content

One of my favorite methods to mentally prepare for anything in life is to read & watch motivational content.

Soaking up motivational content from speakers such as Les Brown, Tony Robbins and other motivational speakers is a great way to get you fired up and get you motivated about accomplishing goals in life.

These motivational speakers will help get you mentally prepared for when SHTF so you will be able to navigate through an economic collapse unlike the 99% in this country who are unprepared and living with their heads in the sand.

Get Out of Debt

“Debt is the slavery of the free.” – Publilius Syrus

If you want to avoid stress, worry, and anxiety…do your best to get out of debt and stay out of it.

When you don’t have large credit card bills, loan payments, and car notes looming over your head every day, your life is going to be much smoother and you can sleep more peacefully at night.

Being in debt, especially during an economic collapse can tear your mental health apart.

Do all that you can to get out of it, and stay out of debt.

In conclusion, these 6 tips should help you mentally prepare for an economic collapse. Here’s a short summary below.

1. Start Exercising/Working Out

2. Start Meditating

3. Focus on Yourself & Your Family

4. Be Thankful for What You Already Have
